WASHINGTON, May 25, 2009 – The BroadbandCensus.com List of NTIA Comments has been updated to include summaries of additional comments filed with the Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration.

The comments, which were due on April 13, are still being reviewed by NTIA staff as they prepare to release the rules, and the “Notice of Funds Availability,” by June 30. The NTIA is responsible for $4.7 billion of the $7.2 billion allocated to the broadband stimulus efforts under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which was signed on February 17, 2009.

Check back to this page frequently to view additional summaries of the substantive comments filed before the NTIA. The comments are summarized by the staff of BroadbandCensus.com.
