WASHINGTON, December 16, 2009 – The spectrum auction software developer KB Enterprises LLC and LS telcom AG, a vendor of spectrum management systems, said Wednesday they are uniting to offer telecommunications regulators and network operators software solutions for finding and assigning spectrum to telecommunications companies.

“With increasing demand for more and more spectrum for broadband access and mobile applications, it is critical that regulators not only be able to identify available spectrum, but also be able to assign it to those that value it the most in order to bring more competition to the marketplace and lower prices for consumers,” said Karen Wrege, founder of KB Enterprises, in a statement.

“As the world’s leading spectrum management software supplier, it is imperative that we have the tools to help regulators deal with the explosive demand in the market,“ added Manfred Lebherz, president and CEO of LS telcom.
