WASHINGTON, July 8, 2010 – The Internet Keep Safe Coalition (iKeepSafe) announced Wednesday that CyberSafeWorld founder and Director Robyn Treyvaud will join the coalition as director of education and international initiatives. Treyvaud comes to the coalition with a history of experience combating cyber bullying, risks, security, ethics and addiction at all levels.
Marsali Hancock, president of iKeepSafe, said, "I am thrilled to welcome Robyn to iKeepSafe. She will play a vital role in our efforts to effectively develop and implement resources and proactive measures to protect, detect, intervene and respond to cyber threats on a global level. Robyn's background and forward thinking perspective uniquely qualifies her to work with partnering countries, assess their needs, and develop a strategic plan, educational content and a network of support at the national and community levels coordinating with law enforcement, education, public health, industry, youth and parents."
iKeepSafe is “an international coalition of more than 100 leaders worldwide with a shared vision of seeing generations of the world's children grow up safely using technology and the Internet.” It has outreach programs in six countries.
