WASHINGTON August 13, 2010- Qatar Telecom has completed their upgrade of their 3G network. The upgrade will provide users with speeds of 21 Mbps down and 5.8 Mbps up. These new speeds will be offered to customers at no extra cost. Additionally the firm is going to expand its mobile broadband offerings with a USB modem which can access the new high speed network.
Qatar Telecom is also going to begin trials of an HSPA+ network which will double the download speeds to 42 Mbps.
