Sharon has been a journalist for 20 years, with most of her work focusing on technology, business and politics. Her work has appeared in CNN Money, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Science, as well as smaller, more specialized publications. Just prior to her work with BroadbandBreakfast.com, She worked as a business reporter at WashingtonPost.com and as an editor at a National Journal publication covering politics and policy of interest to the high-tech and media communities.

Sylvia Syracuse, Director of Marketing and Sponsorship

Sylvia manages the Broadband Breakfast Club, an on-the-record monthly discussion group that meets on the third Tuesday of each month. She has had a long career in non-profit development and administration, and has raised funds for technology and science education, and managed a project on health information exchange by the State of New York. Sylvia’s experience in community education and development also allows her to understand the community needs and infrastructure required to make broadband access effective.

Andrew Feinberg, Reporter

Previously an Assistant Editor at Communications Daily and Washington Internet Daily, Andrew covers Capitol Hill for BroadbandBreakfast.com. Andrew helped produce and interview telecom and tech policy newsmakers for FastCompany.tv’s 2008 “Washington Week,” and has appeared on C-SPAN’s “Communicators” series. Andrew brings an insider’s perspective from two years as a research assistant at a major Washington based telecommunications law firm. His writing has also appeared in Linux Journal.

Rachel is a third year law student at The Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America where she is a member of the Institute for Communications Law Studies. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. Drew Clark, Chairman and Publisher

The founder of BroadbandCensus.com and BroadbandBreakfast.com, Drew has a long-standing reputation for fairness and depth in his coverage of the telecom and technology industries. He worked for the National Journal Group for eight years in a variety of editorial capacities, and ran the telecommunications and media ownership project of the Center for Public Integrity. He has written widely on the politics of telecom, media and technology for a variety of publications, including The Washington PostGigaOmSlate, and Ars Technica. He is currently on leave from day-to-day responsibilities at Broadband Census LLC, and is serving as Executive Director of the Partnership for a Connected Illinois.
