FCC Chairman Commends Mobile Initiative on Chargers

Industry representatives announced the initiative at the CTIA annual convention in San Diego. “I commend the wireless industry for today’s announcement that it intends to simplify input and output features on mobile devices and for reaffirming its commitment to implementation of a universal charger for such devices,” Genachowski said. “I strongly support these steps and I look forward to their timely implementation.”
