WASHINGTON, July 16 – Sens. **Tammy Baldwin**, D-Wis., and **Joni Ernst,** R-Iowa, reintroduced bipartisan legislation to cut through red tape and expand internet access to rural communities by reducing regulatory costs for small broadband providers.

On Wednesday, the senators reintroduced the [Access to Capital Creates Economic Strength and Supports Rural America Act](https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/senate-bill/3242/text/es?ref=broadbandbreakfast.com). The bill allows rural telecommunications service providers to submit streamlined financial reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
