WASHINGTON July 13, 2010- [The Federal Communications Commission](https://broadbandbreakfast.com/tag/fcc/) has been named the most improved agency according to the latest OPM Viewpoint Employee Satisfaction Survey.

The survey was recently released by the [Office of Management and Budget](https://broadbandbreakfast.com/tag/omb/) and measures how the employees feel about their agencies.

“In these times of unprecedented change, it is more important than ever to maintain a focus on the Federal Government’s most valuable asset – its employees,” said OPM Director John Berry, “The Administration has set a course to make the Federal Government America’s model employer for the 21st Century,”

[FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski](https://broadbandbreakfast.com/tag/julius-genachowski/) responded to the survey results by saying, “I am delighted that the FCC has been recognized as the ‘most improved’ federal agency. The survey results reflect the hard work being done throughout the agency to make the FCC a model of excellence in government. The FCC’s reform agenda, which builds on the impressive strides made by [Commissioner Copps](https://broadbandbreakfast.com/tag/michael-copps/) as acting chairman, includes creating new opportunities for employees to provide feedback; improving employee communication through technology and new media; and focusing on leadership development and opportunities for employees. I applaud the work of the FCC management and staff and look forward to more great things to come.”
