WASHINGTON, June 11, 2026 — Cable provider Optimum Communications announced a new milestone of 700,000 mobile lines, despite financial pressures and increasing competition from fiber and fixed wireless providers.

Optimum’s Internet and mobile plans start at $60 a month. Qualified customers can save up to $20 per month by bundling Optimum Internet with a Mobile Unlimited plan.

“Surpassing 700,000 mobile lines is a reflection of the strong progress we are making as we continue to transform our business,” said **Michael Parker**, Optimum’s President of Consumer Services. “We remain focused on building on this momentum by delivering straightforward, cost-effective solutions that deepen customer relationships and support our long-term growth.”

Under CEO **Dennis Mathew**, Optimum has expanded its bundling options to grow its mobile customer base. [Just 8.8 percent of Optimum’s broadband base had taken a mobile line](https://broadbandbreakfast.com/optimum-down-64-000-broadband-subs/) as of April 2026.

A survey sponsored by the company found that 30 percent of Americans have reduced spending on TV, Mobile, or Internet services in the past two months.
