Electronic Frontier Foundation Names Intellectual Property Team

The Electronic Frontier Foundation on Monday formally named the members of its new intellectual property litigation team, bringing on board Yahoo’s senior legal director for copyright and an entertainment attorney from the law firm of Loeb & Loeb in Chicago.

A copyright holder can’t just randomly rummage around an internet service provider’s logs of its customers’ online activities in pursuit of those too cheap to pay for their entertainment a group of public interest lawyers are scheduled to argue Wednesday in a D.C. court.
