FCC Launches Data Initiative and Names Its First Chief Data Officer
WASHINGTON, June 29, 2010 – The Federal Communications Commission today launched the Data Innovation Initiative, a plan to modernize and streamline how the agency collects, uses and disseminates data, and it named the agency’s first-ever chief data officer.
