BEAD: Astound Broadband has declined a notable slice of Oregon’s BEAD awards, state officials said in a June 22 update. The Oregon Broadband Office reported that four ISPs rejected their grants, including Astound, which turned down 10 projects covering 11,003 locations. That represented roughly 10% of the state’s 104,654 BEAD‑eligible locations. The state said Astound walked away from $90.6 million in awards. (More after paywall)
