WASHINGTON, July 22, 2010 – The Federal Communications Commission announced yesterday that it would seek comment on its Web-based system which tracks the information of applicants seeking to operate in existing frequencies. The system is designed to operate as a means for nonfederal applicants to determine the availability of RF spectrum in any location, or the need for detailed frequency coordination of a specific newly proposed assignment within the shared portions of the radio spectrum.
