WASHINGTON, September 9, 2010 – A key initiative of the Federal Communications Commission’s chairman is increasing transparency and updating the FCC website, so it’s no suprise that the agency unveiled a developer program designed to give increased access to FCC data.
The new site provides users with access to speed test data, census block info and license information.
While the FCC has always collected large amounts of data, the information has been stored in text-based documents which cannot be easily digitized.
