Cable Providers Back Hybrid Fiber-Coax Networks in Face of Pure Fiber

WASHINGTON, December 7, 2022 – Although older fiber-coaxial hybrid networks cannot fully match the performance of pure fiber to the premises, technological advances will allow those hybrid networks to remain a viable option for many small businesses, said some panelists Tuesday at LightReading’s Cable Next-Gen Business Services Digital symposium.
