Shentel VP and Chief Accounting Officer to Resign
Tracy Willis is leaving the company on Aug. 6
WASHINGTON, July 23, 2026 – Shentel is experiencing a senior leadership change in August.
In a July 22 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the fiber-first internet service provider announced that Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer Tracy Willis is resigning effective Aug. 6.
In the filing, the company said, “Ms. Willis’ departure was not the result of any disagreement with the Company, including any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, practices, accounting principles or financial statement disclosures.”
Willis joined Shentel in Dec. 2024 and headed the company's accounting sector, overseeing tasks like accounting, financial reporting, income controls and income tax control. Upon her departure, Shentel Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer James Volk will act as the ISP’s principal accounting officer in addition to his current role.
A telecommunications and broadband service provider located in Edinburg, Va., Shentel serves customers in the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast regions.
