FCC Announces New Mobile Broadband Spectrum Plans

Planned Wednesday House subcommittee hearing with all five FCC commissioners postponed because of the death of Chairwoman Rosenworcel's father.
Speakers emphasized the importance of assessing community needs, building partnerships, and educating people about the benefits of broadband internet.
The deal is set to close in the second quarter of 2024.
The agency will vote to take comment on the proposel at its May 23 meeting.
