New Leadership at National Association of Consumer Advocates for Utilities
WASHINGTON, November 19, 2009 – The National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates announced new leadership, which was elected at the group’s annual meeting from November 15 to 18 in Chicago. Mary Healey of Connecticut was elected president of the organization
WASHINGTON, November 19, 2009 – The National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates announced new leadership, which was elected at the group’s annual meeting from November 15 to 18 in Chicago. The following officers will serve a one-year term:
- President: Mary Healey, Consumer Counsel, Connecticut
- Vice President: Dana Appling, Director, Division of Ratepayer Advocates, California
- Treasurer: Paula Carmody, Maryland People’s Counsel
- Secretary: Janine Migden-Ostrander, Ohio Consumers’ Counsel
NASUCA is a non-profit, national organization of more than 40 state offices designated to represent consumers in state and federal utility proceedings. NASUCA regularly participates in proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission and other federal regulatory agencies.
