Steve Coran is chair of Lerman Senter's Broadband, Spectrum, and Communications Infrastructure practice group. He represents broadband providers, private equity firms, equipment and technology companies, and new technology firms, serving their policy, transactional, compliance, and licensing needs. He also actively represents a trade association before the FCC, Congress, and other federal agencies in matters involving spectrum policy, broadband funding programs, Internet regulation, the Universal Service Fund, and other proceedings affecting wireless broadband service providers and technology interests.
Brent Legg serves as Executive Vice President at nonprofit Connected Nation, where he leads the organization’s joint venture to establish neutral Internet Exchange Point (IXP) facilities in unserved markets across the United States. Mr. Legg has more than 23 years of experience working at the intersection of technology, politics, and public policy.
Casey Lide represents clients on a broad range of communications matters, including telecommunications, broadband Internet access service, wireless communications, right-of-way management, pole and conduit attachments, and barriers to community broadband initiatives. Casey frequently counsels public- and private-sector clients on strategic negotiations and transactional matters, including fiber optic and conduit IRUs and leases, master network development agreements, public-private partnerships, easements, public right-of-way license agreements, attachment agreements, ISP service agreements, collocation agreements, fiber and conduit construction agreements and others.
Stephen Rose is Chief Executive Officer of Render Networks, a network construction management software company, a role he has held since March 2025. He brings more than 25 years in telecommunications, technology leadership, and digital innovation to the position. Before Render, Rose was General Manager for Global Industries at IBM, where he carried a multi-billion-dollar P&L, and spent 12 years at Nokia in executive sales and strategy roles — including four years on the leadership team of Nokia Bell Labs. He was also an operating partner at Bell Labs Consulting. Rose holds a master's degree in strategy and organizational leadership from the University of Oxford and is based in New Jersey.
Breakfast Media LLC CEO Drew Clark has led the Broadband Breakfast community since 2008. An early proponent of better broadband, better lives, he initially founded the Broadband Census crowdsourcing tool to collect and verify broadband data left unpublished by the Federal Communications Commission. As CEO and Publisher, Clark presides over the leading media community advocating for higher-capacity internet everywhere through topical, timely and intelligent coverage. Clark also served as head of the Partnership for a Connected Illinois, a state broadband initiative.
