Shentel Posts Record Fiber Additions Again

The company said it expects ARPU to be ‘flat or slightly rising’ in 2027

WASHINGTON, Oct. 28, 2026 – Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) notched more than 8,600 new fiber subscribers in the third quarter of 2026.

That’s the second record quarter in a row for the company, and an increase of more than 48 percent over last year. Shentel now counts more than 108,000 fiber subscribers.
