Days later, House Appropriations leaders postponed markup of NTIA’s FY 26 bill, but released a draft capping the agency at $47 million and forbidding BEAD price mandates. A separate subcommittee froze the FCC’s budget at $390.2 million and barred funding for digital-discrimination enforcement.
