WASHINGTON, Nov. 4, 2026 – After being postponed in September, Danielle Thumann Severs’ confirmation hearing has been set for Nov. 10.

Thumann, a top attorney for Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr, had been tapped by President Donald Trump to fill a vacant seat at the agency and give Republicans a 3-1 majority.
