WASHINGTON, August 27, 2010 – TeliaSonera will launch an LTE network in Gothenburg, Sweden. The firm plans to roll out its network across 25 cities by the end of 2010 and 218 different locations by the end of 2011.
The network will be the world’s largest commercial long-term evolution network, according to the firm. The most recent trials of the network provided users with speeds of 59 megabits per second downstream.
